I have been neglectful of my blog... again. Sorry about that... again. In June a friend from my knitting group passed away from breast cancer. Her daughter saw on our group's email list that we were having a yarn swap in the summer and asked if she could bring her mother's yarn for us to divide up. Happy New Year, everyone! A new year means that it's time for me to look back and count my projects and yarn used. Yes, I'm weird, but that is what it means to me. Here's this year's mosaic of finished object photos.
Niels was more willing to keep the hat on than Stefan, so I took some pictures of him in it. It's too small but he still appears to enjoy having it on.
I made Stefan a Little Turtle Knits Giving Pixie hat. (It was supposed to be for Niels but I made it too small. It is actually a touch small on Stefan.)
I finished the frog illusion back pack from New Knits on the Block. I have never done illusion knitting before and I feel like it's somewhat hard to see the frog. Experienced illusion knitters: does this lok right to you?
